Brittany graduated from Georgian College’s veterinary technician program in 2009. She then moved to Calgary and started her career in a large 24-hour emergency/primary care facility. Her first few years were spent in emergency, and she eventually moved over to the primary care side, with a focus on exotics. This mixed clinic setting allowed her to gain valuable knowledge in both emergency medicine and general practice.
Originally from this area, Brittany returned to Guelph in 2019 and started working at Graham Animal Hospital in March of the same year. Her special interests include emergencies, nursing care, and exotic species (rabbits, birds, reptiles etc.)
Brittany shares her home with her three children and her cat Polkadot. Brittany’s favourite reading genre is non-fiction, particularly books about the environment and sustainability. You can find Brittany and her kids hiking and exploring all the outdoor activities Ontario has to offer.
