TYRA
ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT
Tyra graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Humanities. She lived in Ottawa for close to 10 years, working 5 years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Tyra was spending all her spare time with her personal pets and volunteering with animals. She chose to move closer to family and pursue her passion working with animals.
At Graham Animal Hospital, Tyra splits her time between Client Care and Animal Care Assistant. She enjoys both roles, and the time she gets to spend caring for client pets like they are her own.
Tyra and her husband have four dogs: Boe, Charlie, Rusty and Bailey; as well as their cat, Lucy. All her pets found their way into her heart and home through rescue.
In her spare time, you can find her going on adventures with her pets.
